Purpose

The New Zealand Correspondence School of the Bible was founded to assist interested people in obeying God's command to "study" His written word. The purpose of the NZCSB is therefore threefold:

• Salvation - to insure that the student is absolutely certain that he or she has made peace with their Creator and is confident of where they will spend eternity;



• Instruction - to assist the student in studying the English Bible; and



• Application - to assist the student in practically applying the truths revealed to them through God's word to their own lives. What is unique about the New Zealand Correspondence School of the Bible is its verse by verse approach to the entire word of God. Many schools and various courses attempt to categorize the Bible into major topics or fields of study; such programs may even cover some of the more familiar books of the Bible. The NZCSB however attempts to take the student through every verse of every book of the Bible. Rather than feeding the student a denominational catechism, the NZCSB course work encourages the student to dig for themselves through the chapters and verses for scripture.

The manner in which this objective is reached is likewise unique in that there is:

• no tuition or fees - you only cost is postage, although as a faith ministry donations are accepted, but not requested from our student;



• the material is non-denominational in nature with the emphasis being upon what the Bible actually says in its context - not in what any given person or group of people think it means or interpret it to teach;



• the material is a challenge for the advanced Bible student and yet is simple enough for the person who has never previously opened a Bible or done much study of Scripture;



• provision has been made for the fact that many people do not own their own bible- we will supply the necessary Scriptures as your studies progress;



• a balanced approach is made to learning the teachings of the Bible while making practical application to the problems and issues that confront people today;



• a forum is provided for your questions to be answered - Christian men and women who are mature in the Lord will attempt to give you a Bible-based answer to any questions that you might ask; and



• the course work is followed entirely at the student's own pace with no deadlines or pressure put upon the student to finish any given amount of material.
