Existing Students
ENROLLMENT: When you return to us your first lesson's work, you will be automatically enrolled as a student in the New Zealand Correspondence School of the Bible. You may withdraw or re-enrol at anytime by simply visiting our website.
STUDENT NUMBER: You will be assigned a student number when you enrol. This number, along with your name and email address, should appear on all of your work and on any correspondence.
TIME LIMITS: You may take as much or as little time as you wish to complete any of your lessons. Participating in the NZCSB does not obligate you to finish all of the courses we offer. In other words, if you only want to study the first few levels you may do just that. However, it is not possible to study particular books of the Bible at a time - the student must work through our level system. Those wishing to study through the entire programme may do so at their own pace.
BIBLE: The only Bible to be used by the students of the NZCSB in their studies will be the King James Bible (KJB), sometimes referred to as the Authorized Version of 1611 (AV 1611). All of your lessons are keyed to this Bible. The reasons behind this position should become clear throughout your studies.
All that you will need for the first level of lessons is the book of JOHN/ROMANS. Those within New Zealand who successfully complete all of the lessons in Level One will earn, if they desire it, a free King James Bible; this will enable the student to pursue their studies in the second level of lessons and beyond.
COST: Postage (both to us and return) is the only financial obligation of a New Zealand mail based student of the NZCSB. There are no course fees or tuition fees of any kind. As a faith ministry, we rely upon the donations and contributions of those who find the school to be a particular blessing in their own lives. If you wish to make a contribution, please do contact us.
PROCEDURE: Level One covers the books of "John" and "Romans" and is 18 lessons in length. After Level One is successfully completed, the student will be given a certificate of completion for that level, a copy of their marks for that level, If they live in New Zealand and desire it, and ways to get the first lesson of Level Two.
The student who faithfully studies through the entire NZCSB programme will earn a Diploma in Biblical Studies (Dip. Bib.S.). Such an effort will take the student through every verse of the Bible. The structure of the NZCSB programme is presented below. The NZCSB can not guarantee acceptance of your course work or diploma by any other institutions however. ( read more)

GRADING: All work is graded according to the following scale:
A 100-94%
B 93-86%
C 85-74%
D 73-65%
F Below 65% (Failing)
Most lessons will involve a 20-25 question quiz covering the Bible passages and lesson material for that lesson. Most tests will involve 50-100 questions covering the entire book of the Bible involved (or several books if they are brief). The structure and level of difficulty will gradually change as you reach the higher levels of lessons.
Questions regarding any of your graded work or any aspect of the lessons may be posted on the community forum at http://forum.nzcsb.org.nz. If you do not have access to the internet you can always slip a letter in with your lessons.
LEVEL ONE: Level One consists of these eighteen lessons, all of which can be completed by using the enclosed copy of JOHN/ROMANS:
As mentioned previously, the student who successfully completes Level One will receive an appropriate certificate of completion, a grade sheet for Level One, a free King James Bible if in New Zealand, and permission to advance to Level Two.
